Microsoft AI Community, "LinkedIn social branding" workshop
An invited session at the Microsoft AI Community's "small playground" meetup. Everyone in the room was already an expert in their own field, so the gap was not information — it was the discomfort of putting yourself on social media. Rather than a talk to sit through, the session ran as an 80-minute workshop: 50 minutes of theory and examples, then 30 minutes of hands-on work and Q&A.
Curriculum built in two stages after profiling the tracks in the room: engineering, PM, marketing
Wrote and printed a worksheet and a reference summary so attendees could draft profile copy and post ideas on the spot
Finished on time at 80 minutes with nobody leaving, on a holiday morning
Attendee survey (5 responses): 5.0 / 5.0 satisfaction, every respondent would recommend it
Spoke at Maru 180 startup hub. Faced a topic change (career to sales) and a time cut (40 to 30 min). Reframed the constraint as an opportunity with a 'LinkedIn Sales Strategy from ZEISS/SAP' angle.

Attendee survey (5 responses): 5.0 / 5.0 satisfaction, every respondent would recommend it
A 90-minute live session titled "Endless Challenge with LinkedIn". Profiled the attendees — people balancing a job search with side projects — beforehand, and built the curriculum around turning a career into an asset and connecting it to opportunities, rather than walking through features. The focus was shifting how they saw LinkedIn: not a job board for foreign-invested companies, but a place to record a career and meet people through it.
Workbooks tailored by track: job seekers, B2B sales, creators
Compared the five LinkedIn Premium features against the cost of other learning platforms so attendees could judge it for themselves
Co-hosted, weaving the host's B2B sales experience into the curriculum live
Lowered the barrier to starting with a minimum viable action: your first post is just an introduction
Attendees went on to rewrite their profiles and publish a first post
